West Fraser’s OSB is manufactured with no added VOCs. All of our OSB products have the coveted JAS F☆☆☆☆ mark.
There’s no need for edge treatment after cutting. The moisture absorbed is released as you dry panels.
Edge seals are applied to protect OSB against weather during shipping and storage.
When storing outdoors, panels should be covered under plastic sheathing on blocks, in a flat, well-ventilated area to prevent exposure to moisture.
For long-term storage, panels should be stacked. Dunnage should be aligned to avoid warpage.
To prevent damage, panels should not be dropped on their corners.
